Waste Management Gas Plant/Greenhouse Project

"CCEDC played an important role in the success of Waste Management’s landfill gas-to-energy facility and partnership with the greenhouse developer.  Besides introducing Waste Management to the greenhouse developer, CCEDC assisted with several critical aspects of the project, including an expansion of Christian County’s Enterprise Zone to include the project area.  CCEDC’s “start to finish” involvement resulted in over $11 million worth of investments in new facilities, brought a new employer to Christian County, and created numerous new jobs."
